ROW Reclaim Ryder Cup (5-3)

A glorious day at the superb Leatherhead club welcomed the combatants for the 2013 Ryder Cup. All Eng-ger-land needed was a draw to retain

the prestigious trophy and with the score at ROW 4 – Eng-ger-land 3, it was down to the final pairing, Shanghai Sam (Dunkly) and The Prez. However, it was not to be Eng-ger-lands

day as Shanghai Sam ‘stir fried’ Frank to make it ROW 5 – Eng-ger-land 3. The Prez took the full brunt of his colleagues fury and a lot of finger pointing went on. J

 

As the ROW team left the car park, the air was filled with celebration -  Waltsing Matilda, Danny Boy, Flower of Scotland, Bread of Heaven, Hava Nagila and the chopsticks (does anybody know any chinese tunes!) could be heard in leafy Surrey. A great day out, enjoyed by all, even the beleaguered Prez!
