Too Young Leung wins at Hoebridge

It is incredible to think that it was only a few months ago that two Titans games were cancelled because of snow. However at Hoebridge golf club the Weather God arranged for glorious weather which the Titans thoroughly enjoyed.

The failed presidential candidate places the winners helmet on Keith. Am I the only one that thinks that Keith head is much much bigger than the helmet?

None enjoyed it more than the 2018 captain Keith Leung whose 21 points on the back nine blew away the opposition. He ended on 33 points, three points ahead of Greg, Eric and Mark with Greg picking up 2nd on count back thanks in large measure to consecutive birdies on the tricky holes 15 & 16. "Cut him" was the repeated chant and so the handicap secretary was consulted and no change was proposed. When it was realised that Greg is the Handicap Secretary he immediately blamed the spreadsheet and took a 1 shot cut. Poor young Keith had to take  two!

Greg's early bid to be the new Prez (in the absence of the "One True Prez") was shattered when at the Post match presentation he completely ignored Eric's right to third place (30 pts) and then blamed the scoring spreadsheet and his "reliable" scorecard checker - Phil "Numbers" Schick.

Once this debacle was straightened out then the rest of the winners were announced as Pieman Mark in 4th (30), Paul 5th (29 pts) and Nick 6th (26 pts).

Chazza Lutyns won the dosh, Paul got NP, two Jags got NP2, Eric and Keith the Elder won LD.

The biggest losers of the day were Hoebridge's disappointing fatty bacon rolls (5/10) and poor Manny who won Magni.
