Tod finished off the year with a fine second place but it was the additional £100k for nearest the pin that moved him into the top 5 for the year just edging out Greg. Phil Schick ended up third on the day and also won long drive (18+). Keith was in fourth and Greg was fifth.
So a great day was had by all (well you have to say that don't you - in truth most people played sh1?e), and it was a suitable finale to a great 10th Season. Congratulations to Duncan and James who ended up 3rd and 4th in the champions tour money list. We are already looking forward to starting again in February.
Neil Cannon rounded up a fantastic year with the Titans with a well deserved finale to his dominating season of golf. Gone were the fluorescent shorts, but his 36 points made him shine brightly in the season finale at Merrist Wood. Not only that but his astonishing years total of £5.8m made him the 2014 champion. And he won the NP2 prize! Mr Greed is dead, Long live Mr Greed! Meanwhile arch rival Alan Lee tried to work out where it had all gone wrong. His years winnings of €4.43 million put him in a clear second place in the champions tour 2014 and all that he got was a measly Golf Ball and a limp handshake from the Prez. He took some comfort from winning the long drive (1-17).
