Prez also had trouble with counting as his summary of the days play went along the lines of - twelve titans were in the money which left three Titans empty handed. Shame there were seventeen playing!!
In second place was Martin (almost a winner) Griffiths and in third place was the resurgent Greg McErlean. Tod Lockard made some amends for a disappointing Ryder Cup thrashing for the US team by claiming 4th place for team USA, and returning Matt Bassano should obviously take a year off again if it means that he will again claim 5th place and Long Drive (18+).
Shot of the day went to ex Beach Boy Andre McLaughlin who thinned his second to the 16th and the 100mph rocket hit the pin and dropped down to win NP2 for Andre!
After stepping outside of the "Shadow", Paul T summed up his year as captain and promised great things for the winner at Merrist Wood. Shame that Paul misses out on this one but his colleagues thank him for a great year.
