True to VPs predictions, golf balls were swallowed up by the course at an alarming rate. 7iron lost 6 balls during his round!
As is the Titans way, controversy played a major role. Despite being a fully fledged 18 hole Titans, Nigel was "not aware" that he needed to wear the purple shirt. Accordingly his longest drive was awarded to a delighted Graham Nash. A harsh lesson in Titans etiquette.
But the big winner of the day was Ben Chadwick who picked up two victories in two outings as a Titans fledgling. This has awoken the Titans Handicap sec with a jolt and sees Ben's handicap drop by 3 shots. Second place Pete also felt the edge of the handicappers scythe but is comforted by extending his lead at the top of the Champions tour.
Tod also made it into the Titans Millionaires club with a fine 3rd place but really showed his class by picking up the other three minor prizes. Rob picked up the dosh at the money hole.
