It was cold to-day but 16 hardy Titans took to the Dukes course despite the weather and the Christmas party the night before.

It was clearly a winning group that went out second to last with two winners and a fourth place in the same 'team'.

​No-one managed the NP on the ninth. Maybe the three club competition ensured that no-one had enough club to reach the green. The NP2 on the sixth went to Rita and THE PREZ (straight back into scoring points after weeks away in the sun).

but a new winner is added to the Men's Par 3.

​Congratulations to both Rita and Mannie for conquering a b****y cold morning with a bit of wind thrown in for good measure.

A great turnout of 21  saw 19 Titans and two guests battle out the last Summer 2015 Par 3. With THE PREZ going AWOL, there was an opportunity for Keith to overtake him at the last hurdle.

​It was not to be and the two Ds (Doreen and Dave took the honours on the day.

The Par 3 Director made every effort with a birdie on the first and a par on the second but finally gave up the ghost when he found this lie on the 5th. After much discussion the Director of Etiquette impolitely suggested that the bed of straw was not up to taking the weight unless he wanted an early bath!

'Generous' prizes were handed out for the winners of the various Summer 2015 competitions. They were;

• Fay for the Ladies​
• Jenny Paxman for the Ladies NP​
  
• Will for the Mens NP

it was a good turnout for the last day of the season at Wycombe Heights and old friend John Rodriguez saw us off on the first tee. In scenes Reminiscent of the "duel in the sun" between Nicklaus and Watson at Turnbury  in 1977, the Titans sent out the two tour leaders in the first group. What a show Lockard and Schick put on for the first tee crowds. Hardly an epic - more like tragic as they crumpled under the pressure. 

No such worries on the ladies side as in the second group ladies tour contenders and superstars Nina and Annabelle showed Andre and Greg  how golf should be played. However they also showed the dark side of ladies golf with outrageous gamesmanship like hitting the "GO" button on Greg's trolley which then ran off and "mounted" another trolley. They didn't realise until hole 3 that such gamesmanship wasn't necessary with this pair. They are quite able to self-destruct on their own! Annabelle went on to win the event and Nina was crowned tour champion 2015. 

Returning to the hapless men - three of the first 5  in the 2015 money list returned scores of 23 or less but thankfully the two others put in good scores with VP third (35 pts), Nick second (36) and Will first on count back.  Congratulations Will.

​The men's 2015 champion was never in doubt once Mr Schick imploded. Tod Lockard prevailed despite putting one of his worst performances since coming out of drugs rehab. Obviously keep taking the drugs Tod! Honourable mentions also go to Will in Second place and Phil in third.

The prize giving awards ceremony gave Prez his annual opportunity to get all emotional and he had quite a challenge to get through the various awards within his allocated 3 hours. But in an entertaining performance he gave tribute to all of the many  organisers, all of the winners whilst surviving the traditional assault on his manhood by Lady Susan! 

Today's men's minor prizes were won by Tom Bulatovic (NP), Graham Nash (NP2), Graham again and Phil Schick (LD). And so the 2015 Titans drew to a close. We are already looking forward to the 2016 season.
