An exhausted Presidents cup winner received his Warrior Helmet sitting down, as the hills of Wycombe Heights (or was it the thought of another handicap cup) took its toll. Anyhow $1M Titans dollars and a LD & NP2 payday would put the Shickmeister in the money mix with two events left in the ‘Road to Temple’.

Note: He is looking for a Stroller with golf bag fittings to get him around the next two events!

Phil has been spotted at Dukes today trying out his new golf stroller.

Special mention to Nashers for his near ‘$1M hole in one’ on the 8th , Mr Chippy (Cockster) for a couple of awesome chip-ins and last but not least USA who received the uncoveted ‘Magnis’ Club for a spectacular display of ball losses (5) and 3putts.

Allegedly that the ‘left over’ roll was not commandeered by the Prez but surprisingly wrapped up and bagged by the Chipmeister!!!

If only you had done this on the Champions Tour - it would have been worth $1m.

However it is still a great achievement and it was duly celebrated. Charles sunk it at the 118 yard 2nd hole at Dukes Meadows. As you can see below his chances of achieving it again are 7:1 which is pretty good. Just make sure that it is on the Champions Tour next time!

'Pork Pie' Pulverises Pineridge

Thirty four members of the Purple Army assembled to do battle at a chilly, wet and windy spiritual home. Fast and Slow greens made putting a challenge for all except the winners of course, Pork Pie and Nina 'Im Free' Humphries. Nina also won the coveted money hole and received a Norn Iron £20 which VP had to reassure her it was legal tender in London..but she may have difficulty trying to spend it!!

Mark 'Pork Pie' Straker enhanced his status as Titan comic by enhancing the award ceremony. See attached video.

Weather was a factor on the day. It was meant to stay fine until later in the day but started to drizzle around 1030. By the end it was more than a drizzle. Ask Melania Byfield who was looking for her assistant with her fur coat by the 18th green. Frank did not realise his new role and was nowhere to be seen!

VP came up with some 'inventive' monickers (much nicer word than nickname!)
• Chris Holland kept asking people where the term 'Tulip' came from
• Frank was upset that Mark 'Pork Pie' Straker had not dashed back to Yorkshire for the President's weekly ration
• Few understood the 'Zaphod Beeblebrox' for Andre but then they didn't see the two heads photo (now attached). 'The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy' for the ignorant!)

• Nina was so incensed by the 'I'm Free' that she ran away with the Money Prize

It was great to see two 'veterans return - JR Rodriguez and the Weather God although some questioned the status of David O given the state of the weather on the day.

The Danish 'Luv God' also appeared for the first time in years and would have come second if not playing as a guest. A Handicap 'cut' is sure to follow.
