It was just like being at the beach today at Merrist Wood today - sun, sand and from the looks of the photo below - sex! Helicopters continually overhead, music blaring and tannoy announcements. A tranquil days golf!

In a titanic battle on the par 5 18th the Titans professional Mike Rubber took a 2 hybrid and knocked it 240 yards to the back of the green in 2. Phil Schick took a more leisurely route to the green and signed for a 6 and 37 points. Mike was 5 feet away and looking at birdie to also shoot 37. But it slid past for just a par and a glorious 36 off a handicap of 2.

Supporting Mike and Phil but back in the pack were Paul "Attenborough" Tennant and Greg "4 balls in the water at 17" McErlean.

It was a tough day at Oak Park today with the greens being in a poor state and the trees put completely in the wrong places. Someone should tell the course architect.

But one man rose to the challenge and won with 35 points. Phil Schick is the name. Golfing excellence is his game.

Unprecedented happenings at Oak Park today as the Prez upset Deeks so much on the first tee that he put his drive into the bushes 30 yards to the right.

The Prez magnanimously offered Deeks a unheard of Mulligan which Deeks then wasted by hitting a blob!

Yes we have a new winner on the champions tour. James Mcintyre shot a brilliant 38 points to win himself 500,000 Titans dollars in the process and a well earned handicap cut.

Little wonder he is looking so happy in the photograph. But why are Phil and Frank looking so happy?

And why is there is some sort of Halo above James's head?
