An insider IOC mole today claimed that "outgoing" Vice President Alan Lee did his chances of remaining in office no good by choosing a wicked NP2 selection at the 18th.

Many Titans title chances fell apart on this long par 4 finisher. Outside chance Martin Wyn Griffith hit a wonderful draw (aka hook) off the tee into a multimillion pound house. Long Tod Lockard lived up to his billing by playing to the practice green behind the green via the clubhouse roof. But eventual winner Will Smith showed us how it should be done with a wonderful birdie.

On a day when scores were very low, Will's 33pts made sure he was a clear winner with Neil C coming in second with a pair of very loud shorts - sorry with 31 points. VP and 2013 captain Andre shot 30 pts and edged out newcomer Sam and 2014 Captain Paul.

Congrats to Alan for long drive, to James for NP and Will for the £ hole. Looks like the Celts cleaned up.

A fun day in glorious early season sunshine on an impressive new course. The course was tough, the greens were rough, but by the 19th most Titans had had enough. next up is Hoebridge.

16 Titans turned up for a fine but chilly morning and it was nice to see the Ladies’ contingent back to a good number.  After a few weeks of few ladies getting near the pin on the 9th today there was competition for this which Nina won from Carmine – she would have won the men’s as well with her brilliant tee shot.  She happily rolled in a 6 foot putt for her birdie.  So Nina had the clean sweep today, best gross, first place and nearest the pin.  Nina’s birdie on 9th was the only birdie for the ladies.

The Prez won outright by 1 shot from Will and he also took nearest the pin after a lot of measuring involving the flag stick and he beat Charles by the height of the flag!  He too had a clean sweep of best gross (jointly with Will of 33), first place and nearest the pin. There were birdies for Will and Azim on the 1st and Charles on the 4th.
