Ryder Cup Date Announced

The fabled and popular annual Titans Ryder Pup tournament has been moved from it's old chilly winter spot to the 25th August.
Leatherhead Golf club will play host to this highly contested event.
England Captain Duncan (Moanmeister) Deacon commented, "I believe our well disciplined English army will crush the rag bag enemy for the third time on the trot!"
ROW Captain Alan (VP) Lee was unavailable for comment, probably in hiding!

Freak Weather cancels Freak Trophy

Arctic conditions in the Hills of High Wycombe caused the Freak trophy to be cancelled and rearranged for 2 weeks time on the 7th April.

Unfortunately that has meant that the Champions Tour event on that day at Chesfield Downs has now been cancelled.

Aldwickbury was great on Sunday but the IOC have received multiple complaints about the slow pace of play from a four ball that lost 4 holes to the preceding group. Embarrassingly two IOC members were in that group! Swift action has followed - IOC members sacked? Gnashers wins at arctic Aldwickbury

Ice cold conditions at Aldwickbury but Graham was hot as he won with 38 points. Prez was overheard muttering that "he got two shots at three holes". Even Graham appeared to accept that really he should be playing off an 8 handicap. This can be arranged!

VP sets another challenging NP2 at Aldwickbury!

Yes he's at it again. The nearest the pin in 2 competition is on the tricky 18th. The big hitters may think that 283yds is drivable but the risks are very high with bunkers and water guarding the right half of the green and out of bounds tight on the left. Hit it too far and if it avoids the water then it may disturb the mothers enjoying lunch in the clubhouse.

Of course if you lay up to the right you still have to cross bunkers and water. Lay up to the left and you are in the bunkers.

So what you really want is a 280 yard gentle fade high drive which stops quickly.

Winter Tour Prize Giving

The Summer tour started at Dukes this morning and it was a birdie fest for the men. Will Smith even had two birdies and didn't win. Azim made history by achieving the first ever "Presidents Hollow Save". Chipped in out of the penalty zone for a fantastic birdie and a doubling of the charitable donation!
