No one seems to have taken a photo of the new champion but he did manage to win this magnificent trophy
After the slightly disgraceful last outing to Celtic Manor (Ed - was the Titans Talker not involved in that?) it was good to get back to the traditional values of that Autumn Classic - the Super Titans. And it was great to welcome back some of the greats, chief among them the Weather God (David Ospalla). And of course he delivered the type of weather we have come to expect from him. Sunshine and warmth.
Unfortunately there was a delayed start to the proceedings as the club had moved the start time back but the IOC hadn't realised because of an administrative error. For once the smooth running IOC machine got a bit of dirt in the oil and so the IOC offer their apologies!
But even more amazingly Andrew Cooke arrived 30 minutes early (Ed - Have you fact checked this?). Everyone asked him what the hell was going on!!

Rita won the Ladies title but Capt Keith easily won the one legged balance trophy. Must get a trophy for that one.
The winner of the coveted Super Titans trophy was Pete Doherty who clearly had a cracking round finishing off with 22 points on the back 9 to post a winning total of 39 points. In second with a credible 35 points was Keith E, followed by Phil (the handicap cut dodger) with 34 points. It is just amazing how Phil usually just avoids the additional shot cuts. But inwardly the handicapper is content that he caught him out big time in an earlier round at the Shire!
Two guests played with Frank feeling generous enough to give them both a guest prize (a ball). Rob won with 29 points.
In the minor prizes Kam must have shot a missile to get LD as Keith E's drive was over 250 yards! However Keith did mange to pick up NP and NP2. He had a good day - power and accuracy. Charles won the other LD and Phil picked up the money which caused the Prez much anguish.
The Prez himself was having a bad day and was concerned right up to the last that he might be the Magni winner. However surprisingly the current leader of the Champions Tour money list (Wren) saved him from that ignomony. But actually Wren only picked up the prize because of an on the spot decision that as David O already was a 'god' he couldn't receive Magni! Who says that the IOC aren't compassionate?
In the Ladies Titans event the lovely Judge Rita almost swept the Board by winning NP and posting an outrageous 40 points to win the ladies event. An appeal has been lodged against this award and the hearing has been set for 1 July 2027. I suspect a bit of judicial meddling!

NEW VACANCY - MOAN MEISTER
In another break from normal procedure the IOC have decided to openly advertise a role that was badly needed at this event. Nobody was moaning. Deeks isn't able to be around as much as he once did and the mini-moanmeister in waiting (Charles) has decided that he cannot handle the burden which leaves a vast gap. So the IOC are expecting applications to cover the following skills / attributes:
• Some liked the fat, others didn't
• Some also thought that the rolls were a little sweet (Ed - does this mean that the majority loved them?)

Tour leader Wren has been trying to bag all the trophies in what has been a great year. This was the one he wanted the most. The smile says it all.
