It wasn't the best weather of the weekend and the course wasn't in the best condition we have ever experienced but it was clear to see that the ladies and men attending the Founders event were excited by the thought of starting our 10th season.
Proceeding started with Andre handing over his captains duties to Paul Tennant. It was a successful year for Andre and hope that it will be the same for Paul.
Despite the readjusted mens handicaps it was a day of high scoring in sometimes difficult scoring conditions. The winner was James McIntyre with an impressive 41 points Methinks the handicap axe is being sharpened. Nina won the Ladies event - check out her opening tee shot below.
Mike R got nearest the pin with a good one but Annabelle got closer for the ladies.
Ally won the money hole and immediately exchanged it as down payment for a new Titans Shirt.
Deeks may have been surprised that 20 handicapper Greg out drove his own mighty effort but both picked up the long drive categories. Deeks also showed his class by securing NP2 as well. Charles Lutyens picked up the guest prize although truth be told there may not have been a lot of competition! Well done anyway.
